Discipline

Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, Disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in the removal of the child from the school.

School property willfully damaged or destroyed will be required to be made good. In addition, a heavy fine may also be imposed.

Parents and Guardians are not allowed to see their children or interview teachers during school hours and without the permission of the Academic Heads.

The use of unfair means in an examination will entail the annulment of the entire examination.

In case a child has any special kind of ailment/disease the guardian must bring the same to the knowledge of the school authority.

Students enjoy a wide and varied campus life at school. A diverse program schedule throughout the year helps students give expression to their interests.

Top-notch IT facilities allow students to surf the internet; other information or check e-mail at their own www.sxipanihati.org  e-mail address.

An hour of physical activity in the form of games and sports is compulsory during week days.

The school has its own Data Projections System which allows boys to view the latest movies on Saturday or Sundays in the school auditorium.

Sunday is not just for leisure or lolling. Boys are encouraged to pursue their interests voluntarily, whether it is opting for their favorite sports or pursuing their hobbies in the departments which remain open on Sundays.

Extensive medical and pastoral care systems take care of students in sickness and in good health.

Students are encouraged to introspect every evening at sunset to discover and realise their inner selves. Campus life is designed to bring about the holistic improvement of students, thereby, complementing the formal learning process.

Classes Lower Nursery to XII

    Boys : White Shirt with School emboss and Steel Grey Pant.

(Full pant for boys : From Class V to XII)

    Girls : White Blouse with School emboss and Steel Grey Skirt

 (Not above knee level)

Uniforms  - Winter  :

Full and plain white Socks, Black Shoes, White Stockings in winter (L.Ny.to IV) only for girls.
Maroon coloured Sweater (Half/full sleeve) in winter for L.Ny to VII.
Maroon coloured blazer for VIII to XII during winter.

  • Shirts and blouses may be full sleeve in cold weather – October to February

  • Full pants in cold weather – October to February (L.NY to IV) for boys.

  • Half sleeve shirts and blouses – March to September.

Dress with tie should be obtained from the authorized shops of school to ensure uniformity.

Students must have non-metallic suitcases/bags to carry books, copies etc. to avoid injury in transit as well as in the school campus.

One extra pant must be given in the School box for Lower Nursery, Nursery and K.G., Classes I & II students and one towel for students of Lower Nursery to IV.

Students must not come to school with costly ornament or article. Upto Class-VII, students will not use wrist watches.

Students without complete uniform will not be allowed to sit in classes.

Each student is required to have an identity card and a school diary (for Communication with guardians), which are available from the school office.

Exercise books and other stationery are to be purchased from the school prior to the commencement of the new session.

Sports wear for sports and games is compulsory and to be purchased as prescribed by the school.

Books are to be purchased from our authorized shop – Katha-o-Kahini, Kolkata.

 

 

Transport

 

Route :

 

  • The School buses run only on main roads - 

  • At the South: upto Paikpara near Shyambazar.

  • Madhyamgram and Birati upto East.

  • Barrackpore Railway Station upto North.

             Presently 10 buses ply.

  • The School buses run only on main roads.

  • To carry maximum number of students in minimum hours, roadside centres/Pick-up points are selected suitably for groups of students.

  • Time for lifting and dropping of students is fixed/re-fixed to serve the common
    interest and not for individual preference.

  • Buses may sometimes be a bit late due to traffic jam or mechanical disorders. However, efforts are always made to maintain the given time schedule.

  • In the event of unforeseen breakdown of a bus, utmost efforts are made to escort the held-up students by possible alternate means. On such unfortunate occasions, prior intimation cannot be given owing to inconveniences.

  • No student will be allowed to leave bus in mid-session. In case of surrender of school bus the entire charge for the session will be taken.

  • No student is allowed to avail himself/herself of school bus service without a valid Identity Card issued by the school office.

  • Monthly conveyance charges : To be intimated by the School Office later.

BUS ROUTE : Five minutes walking distance from B.T. Road to the west, Stoppage : Mina cinema / Sodepur Station Road / Peerless Bus route : 78, 78B, 78/1, 214, 78E, DN10, 56, L20/A, S11, S32, Minibus : Sodepur, New Barrackpore, Khardah.

 

TRAIN : Station : Sodepur on the Sealdah-Barrackpore-Ranaghat Main line, about 25 minutes from Sealdah and 30 minutes from Naihati.

RIVER : Panihati Ferry Ghat on the eastern side of the Hooghly river opposite to Konnagar Ferry Ghat. The Konnagar Ferry Ghat is on G.T.Road and one Km. away from Konnagar Railway station on Howrah-Burdwan Main Line. The school is within walking distance from Panihati Ferry Ghat (10 minutes approx).
